Here is the latest information (as of 1st of July) about Turkey's Travel Restrictions and Turkey Country specific entry restrictions during the coronavirus (covid19) pandemic. Turkey has become one of the best travel destinations in the world with its unbeatable price/quality ratio. The travel industry started to get back to its normal path in the world. People want to get the advantage of the low prices before the prices get higher.

Although the Turkish economy dependant on the money that comes with tourism, the Turkish government wants to protect public safety first. Covid19 cases went below 5 thousand daily and the ministry of health vaccinated over 40 million coronavirus vaccines (Chinese Sinovac & Biontech-Pfizer & Russian Sputnik V).

It's highly expected that Tourism and travel industry in Turkey will accelerate starting from the 1st of July.

 

Before we start, we would like to remind you that it's obligatory to fill the entry form to Turkey  72 hours before arriving in the Republic of Turkey. You should keep the HES Code which will be assigned automatically on your entry form to Turkey. You will need the HES Code when you enter closed areas & shopping malls and when you take the bus, flights within Turkey.

What are the Travel Restrictions to Turkey for USA Citizens?

 

US citizens who can provide a document given by the country's official authorities which shows that they are vaccinated in the last 14 days or recovered from the Covid disease in the last 6 months can enter Turkey without a PCR test or quarantine.

US citizens who can't provide a certificate of Covid19 vaccination or a document that shows that they are recovered from the covid19 disease have to submit a negative PCR test or Rapid antigen test result ( performed within the last 48 hours) in the last 72 hours when entering Turkey.

 

 

 

 

What are the Travel Restrictions to Turkey for Indian Citizens?

 

Indian citizens or passengers who have been in India in the last 14 days, must submit a negative PCR test result (taken within the last 72 hours) and must stay in quarantine in one of the locations arranged (mostly in student dormitory) by the government when entering the Republic of Turkey.

Indian citizens will not pay any additional fee while they stay in quarantine in Turkey.

 

The same requirements are valid for other countries such as; Bangladesh, South Africa, Afghanistan, Brazil, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka.

 

 

 

 

What are the Travel Restrictions to Turkey for Russian Citizens?

 

Russian citizens who can provide a document given by the country's official authorities which shows that they are vaccinated in the last 14 days or recovered from the Covid disease in the last 6 months can enter Turkey without a PCR test or quarantine.

 

Russian citizens who can't provide a certificate of Covid19 vaccination or a document that shows that they are recovered from the covid19 disease have to submit a negative PCR test or Rapid antigen test result ( performed within the last 48 hours) in the last 72 hours when entering Turkey.

 

Attention!

Turkey accepts only original PCR test results (with a blue stamp) from Russian citizens when entering the country. Copy or e-mail copy of PCR Test will not be accepted by the Turkish authorities.

 

 

 

 

What are the Travel Restrictions to Turkey for UK Citizens?

 

 

People who arrive from the United Kingdom should submit a negative PCR test result performed within the last 72 hours (vaccinated or not) when entering Turkey.

 

The same requirements are valid for passengers who arrive in Turkey from Egypt, Singapore, and Iran.

 

 

Passengers from all other countries which we did not mention above who have a vaccine passport (that shows the vaccination within the last 6 months), or a document which proves the recovery from covid19 disease (also within the last 6 months) can enter Turkey without Restriction.
